A tragic incident occurred at Ikolaba area of Ibadan, Oyo state capital on Friday August 21 as some gunmen broke into a police station in the community.
A corporal was shot dead in the surprise attack which left other policemen with various degrees of injuries.
Though the gunmen’s mission is still not clear at the moment, the police spokesperson Gbenga Fadyei said policemen had been deployed in the area and normalcy has been restored.
