Gospel singer Ajayi Aduke Morounkola, widely known as Aduke Gold, has passed away.
The news was confirmed on Tuesday morning by her fellow gospel artist, Esther Igbekele, who shared, “A GENERAL HAS FALLEN. ADUKE GOLD #rip.”
The cause of her death has not yet been disclosed.
Aduke Gold began her music career in 2004 and rose to fame with her live performance at the first remembrance event for the late gospel artist, Baba Ara.
Aduke, the 11th child of her late parents, spent her childhood in the Ogba and Badagry areas of Lagos.
