The Ghanaian and Senegalese football federations, on Wednesday, named the squads that will champion their quest for two of the tickets to the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament.
The Black Stars of Ghana will host the Egyptian Pharaohs in Kumasi while the Senegalese side will travel to Abidjan to take on Cote d’ Ivoire in the first leg fixtures.
Ghana’s coach Kwesi Appiah, on Wednesday in Accra, named a 25-man squad for the first leg tie of the playoffs.
The list released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) does not have any local player.
Appiah recalled goalkeeper Richard Kingson, midfielders Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari, and striker Jordan Ayew.
Kingson has been called up for the first time in two years after he lost his first spot to Adam Kwarasey, who plays for Stromgodset in Norway.
