Popular social media personality, GehGeh, has stirred reactions online after sharing his controversial take on the difference between baby mamas and single mothers.
In a viral video titled “Difference between baby mama and single mother,” GehGeh claimed that baby mamas are successful women capable of taking care of themselves and their kids, while single mothers, in his words, are simply “poor baby mamas.”
Baby Mama
According to him, a baby mama is usually financially stable and independent often a career woman who left her relationship because of her partner’s behavior. He stressed that such women live comfortably, and if they choose to remarry, many men would line up to propose.
In his words: “A baby mama na successful woman wey fit take care of her child in the absence of the father. If the man’s behaviour tire them, they fit waka comot without drama.”
Single Mother
On the other hand, GehGeh described single mothers as “poor baby mamas,” claiming they are “more dangerous than nuclear weapons” because men often avoid them.
He argued that single mothers tend to be bitter, transferring their anger towards their child’s father onto the child, which eventually strains the child’s relationship with the father.
Furthermore, he said baby mamas often maintain cordial relations with their baby fathers, but single mothers are usually in constant conflict with theirs, never speaking positively about them.
