President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has traveled to Rajghat, India, with other world leaders for a wreath-laying ceremony at the site of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation.
According to Naija News, President Tinubu was joined at the ceremony by Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General of the WTO, as well as Joseph Biden, President of the United States and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India.
Nigeria Is Required for the G20, Tinubu Tells World Leaders
President Bola Tinubu has stated that Nigeria is prepared to play a significant role within the G-20 as the group works to create a more just international order.
The President made this statement on Saturday in New Delhi, India, during Day One of the 18th G-20 Leaders’ Summit, according to a statement from his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.
President Tinubu stated that cooperation and coordination between states and regions will help bring about peace and prosperity for all people, and he recognized the G-20’s crucial role in establishing a rules-based international system that fosters shared prosperity and security.
It cannot be overstated, according to Tinubu, how important the League of 20 Strongest Economies will be in creating a new, rule-based international system.
