The protest which started out at Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) last Friday, February 17 has grown wilder and messier as the students have regrouped and started another protest.
The students were said to have regrouped due to the arrest of 15 students of the institution by the police.
This reportedly angered the students and they grouped today, Monday, February 20 and reinforced to invade the DSS office where their colleagues were held in custody.
The students were seen chanting songs calling for the release of Rochas Ogbona one of their major leaders or they should arrest all of them.
They were however stopped by policemen who intervened and hindered them from going further to the DSS office.
