Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele recently fired back at a netizen who suggested she should stop appearing in her own movies.
The box office star took to the microblogging platform X to share a video of herself dancing while promoting her upcoming film, “Everybody Loves Jenifa,” set to premiere in cinemas this December.
An X user, @Godbles82, commented that the actress might perform better if she produced a movie without casting herself.
The user wrote: “Maybe you could do better by producing a movie one day without being part of the cast.”
Funke Akindele responded: “Maybe you could do better by logging out of this app.”
