A film banned by the Nigerian Government has received the award for Best Documentary at the 2013 AMAA(wards).
According to Premium Times, the hall erupted in thunderous cheers after the documentary, which was banned two weeks ago by the Nigerian government, was pronounced winner, in an event which had top government officials in attendance.
