Former Redeemed Christian Fellowship (RCF) president at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Jimmy Adekoya, has responded to criticism after news of his marriage to a man went viral.
Reports earlier surfaced that the OOU graduate, who relocated abroad, had gotten engaged to his Caucasian partner.
Photos circulating online show the couple dressed in suits, with Jimmy Adekoya proudly displaying his engagement ring alongside his husband.
His marriage sparked mixed reactions, with many criticizing his choice, particularly due to his past role as a fellowship president.
In response to the backlash, the former RCF president took to social media to express his thoughts, stating that his only “offense” was being a gay man who also loves Jesus.
“When your only offense is being a gay man who loves Jesus,” he wrote.
