A Renowned Egyptian Lion tamer Faten el-Helw has left the hopsital after recovering from an attack by one of her lions in the Delta city of Tanta.
Helw fell to the ground when her lion, Mandy, jumped over her during a performance on Thursday. Egyptian media reports said Helw has recovered and is preparing for her next show.
El-Helw family is famous in Egypt for their lion-taming. Faten’s father died in the 1980s after being attacked by one of his lions.
The stunning Thursday night attack saw the trainer and circus owner wrapped in a mid-air bear hug before thrown to the ground.
