The Federal Government may soon go after suspected fianciers and strategist of the militant Islamic sect Boko Haram, according to the Vanguard.
Also being targeted by security agencies are those believed to be inciting the sect into violence through the spread of hate messages in certain parts of the country.
Adopting this approach the Federal Government believe will go along in reducing the incessant bombing raids by the group nd help curb its menance, says a source.
The source said: “The focus of the search is gradually shifting from the sect’s foot soldiers, who merely go on suicide missions to the financiers, intelligence class and those who indoctrinate the bomb-throwers”.
Furthermore, the source also revealed that government is presently in talks with the group, the reliable government official however failed to comment on the nitty gritty of the discussions.
