The Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) has lifted the suspension on its National Chairman, Dr Frederick Fasehun, to enable him pursue his desired political ambition.
NAN reports that this was contained in a communique issued at the end of the National Executive Committee meeting of the party.
The communique was signed by the Acting National Chairman of the party, Dr Manzo Abubakar, and made available to NAN in Sokoto on Monday.
The party also adopted the motion by the Ogun governorship candidate of the party, Mr Rotimi Pasheda, seeking the party’s support for all his colleagues across the country.
It further adopted the motion by Mr Aliyu Kontagora from Niger calling on all Nigerians to support the party. The party also applauded the exemplary leadership of the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar.
