Since leaving Naira Marley’s Marlian record label, Nigerian singer Mohbad has focused solely on his music career.
Mohbad, who recently released a new song titled Weekend, is set to release the visual, which is a big deal for him because it is the first time he has the freedom to do things his way.
However, new photos shared by the singer showed him looking brand new. This has stirred reactions from his fans and some pointed out that he’s now using a belt which negates the Marlian no-belt rule made popular by his former label boss Naira Marley.

Mohbad made headlines after his lawyers released a letter announcing the termination of his contract with Naira Marley’s Marlian Records.
This came after Mohbad took to social media a few days ago to share a disturbing video in which he claimed he was assaulted by Marlain label members.
The letter, titled “Termination Notice,” went viral, and stated in part that the Marlian label boss orchestrated and carried out attacks on Mohbad.
