A cooking gas explosion has killed a family of six, a man, wife, three children and sister-in-law, in Agbo, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Eyewitnesses say the fire started after the gas with which Mrs. Akpevweta (the wife) was cooking exploded.
Neighbours rushed in to save them but none of them survived the severe burns sustained – not even Mr. Akpevweta, who witnesses said, managed to walk out of the building.
