Hollywood actor Bryton James has filed for divorce from his wife, Jahaira Meyers, just months after their wedding.
According to TMZ, the Family Matters and The Young and the Restless star submitted the divorce papers on Monday, October 13, 2025, in Los Angeles.
Details of the Split
Per the report, the filing cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup. Bryton has also asked the court to terminate spousal support for both parties.
Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that the couple got married in March 2025 but separated by June of the same year. The short-lived union produced no children.
Bryton’s Career and Previous Marriage
Following the divorce news, attention has turned to Bryton’s recent appearance in the Thai romance drama The Young and the Ruthless (also known as Ngao Kammathep or Cupid’s Shadow), which aired from April to June 2025 and ran for 24 episodes.
This is not the first time Bryton has faced a public split. The actor was previously married to Ashley Leisinger, his co-star from The Young and the Restless. The pair tied the knot on March 16, 2011, in a ceremony officiated by fellow cast member Christian LeBlanc, but they divorced in 2014 also without children.
Ashley Leisinger, who played Abigail Stanton on the show, reportedly met Bryton during filming, marking the beginning of their brief romance.
