Amid the controversy, a man claiming to be a relative of Burna Boy accused the artist of neglecting his family financially. According to the alleged relative, while Burna Boy’s mother occasionally provides financial support, the singer himself has never extended any monetary assistance to his family.
“You have never given any money to us, your family members. It’s only your mum who visits and shares money sometimes,” the man stated in a video.
