A fake corp member has been arrested by the Akwa Ibom police command at the NYSC orientation camp in the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Chukwu Ikechukwu, in a statement on Wednesday, said the fake corps member, Mr Justice Orlu, was arrested after policemen at the camp were alerted.
“Based on intelligence received by our policemen at the orientation camp, officers swung into action and arrested one Mr Justice Orlu Ordu, and indigene of Ikwere in Rivers, in Monday Uko’s Hostel in the orientation camp.
“On interrogation, Ordu admitted being a fake corps member who forged NYSC call-up letter claiming to have graduated from University of Uyo’s Department of Architecture.“He will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation,” Ikechukwu said.
His reason for the forgery was however not stated by the police…
