Eva Omaghomi, a British Nigerian woman, made news when she arrived for King Charles III’s coronation dressed in magnificent traditional garb with a matching gele (head tie).
Her outfit stood out among the crowd, and social media users praised her for showcasing Nigerian culture at the event, which took place at Westminster Abbey on May 6th.
Eva Omaghomi isn’t new to the palace; she worked for King Charles and Queen Camilla for 13 years, during his time as Prince of Wales and hers as Duchess of Cornwall.
She is the company’s longest-serving employee, as well as its longest-serving black employee.
