Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has expressed his determination to avoid conceding four goals in their upcoming match.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge, Maresca revealed that he reviewed last season’s 4-4 draw between the two teams, where Cole Palmer scored a late penalty.
“I was watching [the 4-4 match between Chelsea and Man City last season at home.
“It was fantastic, although as a manager I don’t like conceding goals. I don’t want to concede four goals,”
said Maresca, who was previously an assistant to Guardiola, in an interview with the UK Guardian.
This match marks Maresca’s first competitive game as Chelsea’s head coach.
