Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Emenike will be in the thick of action in one of the biggest derby clashes in the Turkish Super Lig as Fenerbahce play host to Besiktas tomorrow at the 53,586-capacity Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. And with the big Nigerian striker set to lead his team’s attack against one of their biggest rivals, Emenike would be hoping to deliver the goals that would help Fenerbahce close the gap on Besiktas in the race towards the Turkish league title.
Coach Ismail Kartal is likely to deploy Emenike in a three-pong attack alongside Mousa Sow and Dirk Kuyt. And though the Nigerian international has lower goals return of 4 goals to his co-strikers who has 8 goals each, Emenike’s energy and work rate has always stood him in good stead to lead Fenerbahce’s attack while the other forwards play off him.
