Former Federal Capital Territory , FCT Minister , Malam Nasir El’Rufai has won the Kaduna All Progressives Congress, APC governorship primaries.
El’Rufai defeated four other aspirant to emerge winner in an election that was held amidst tight security .
El’Rufai who before now has been endorsed by former Head State and APC presidential aspirant , General Muhammadu Buhari polled 1,965 votes to beat his main challenger, Isa Ahiru Kudan who got 1,379.
Other results announced by the Election Committee Chairman, Prince Ekeyem Nwafor are as follows : Haruna Sa ‘eed 127 votes, Mohammed Abdullahi Ango 25 votes and Salihu Moh’d Lukman 22 votes. While 28 votes were invalid .
Nwafor who adjudged the election held at Kaduna Trade Fair complex as successful , free and fair however declared EL-Rufai as the winner and candidate of APC for 2015 governorship election in Kaduna state.
Mohammed Ango Abdullahi has congratulated the winner.
The other contestants have follow suit haven agreed to support anyone that emerged at the primaries.
