The Ekiti state government has set up a multi-ministerial committee for the prevention of Ebola virus in the state.
The state commissioner for health, Olusola Fasubaa told newsmen in Ado-Ekiti that the committee will track any persons suspected of having contact with Ebola victims.
AIT’s Yemi Adebayo reports that the state has organized special training for mortuary attendants, anatomists and allied medical staff on the handling, prevention and control of Ebola case.
The state government also warned its citizens to avoid bats and usual bush meats as delicacy.
