Amy Luciani, wife of NBA star Dwight Howard, has filed for divorce just six months after their wedding, citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple, who got married on January 11, 2025, following a surprise engagement in December 2024, appear to be ending their marriage on difficult terms.
According to TMZ, Luciani officially filed for divorce on July 1, 2025, in Georgia, stating the marriage is “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for reconciliation.”
She is also requesting alimony and a fair distribution of their marital assets.
Despite previously standing by Howard — including publicly defending him against accusations of being an absentee father — Luciani’s decision signals the end of their short-lived union.
