The Netherland’s coach to the world cup Louis van Gaal has been appointed as the new boss of Manchester United after the position became vacant after the sack of David Moyes in April.
Van Gaal put pen to a three-year deal at Theaters of Dreams and will be assisted by the club’s hero and British most decorated player Ryan Giggs after the Legendary player called time to his illustrious career.
Holland goalkeeper trainer Frans Hoek and scouting expert Marcel Bout are the other assistant coaches. Van Gaal is currently the manager of Holland and will become Manchester United’s first foreign boss.
In his words after the appiontment Van Gaal said “It was always a wish for me to work in the Premier League. To work as a manager for Manchester United, the biggest club in the world makes me very proud.”
He said further “I have managed in games at Old Trafford before and know what an incredible arena Old Trafford is and how passionate and knowledgeable the fans are. This club has big ambitions; I too have big ambitions. Together I’m sure we will make history.”
Van Gaal will resume after his world cup adventure with Holland at Old Trafford with hope of bringing back the good old times at the club.
