Popular gospel artist Dunsin Oyekan has spoken out over the renewed wave of violent attacks across Nigeria.
According to NAIJALOG, armed terrorists invaded a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Kwara State on Tuesday evening, killing three worshippers and kidnapping several others, including the pastor.
The tragic incident occurred just hours after suspected Boko Haram members reportedly murdered eight residents in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State on Monday night.
Responding to the disturbing events, Oyekan shared a post on Instagram, expressing deep concern and condemning the violence as “cruel.”
He also questioned the government’s handling of the growing insecurity, while praying for divine intervention.
In his words: “May the Lord judge the enemies of this nation once and for all in this season. These killings are too much, senseless, and cruel! Psalm 82’1-8 is my prayer in this season. And we have a government abi?????”
