The Department of State Services (DSS) has made an unbelievable announcement on a recent arrest. According to the DSS, it detained a soldier in Abuja who was suspected of providing weapons to kidnappers. According to information made public by the DSS, the suspected soldier typically rents the pistol for 300,000 or more.
The suspected criminal goes by the alias Nafiu, and he is a soldier assigned to the Tungan Maje Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment in Abuja, the capital of the country.
Nafiu was allegedly apprehended by DSS agents last week after they successfully lured him to Dankogi Park in Zuba with the assistance of local Vigilante Group of Nigeria members.
The sources said Nafiu was arrested with the help of some suspected kidnappers in their custody who gave him up during interrogation.
The source said:
“They were asked to contact him for another deal to supply them with AK-47 rifles for N3m and he agreed. But he was arrested by operatives of the DSS with a fully loaded AK-47 rifle which he was about to exchange for N3m at the location where the transaction was supposed to take place in Zuba.
