Nigerian rapper Dremo has responded to Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie’s jab at Nigeria’s top three artists, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy with a diss track. Sarkodie released his latest single called “Brag” earlier today, where he claimed to have paved the way for Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido in the music industry. He asserted his seniority over Wizkid and mentioned his influence pre-dating Davido’s arrival, and compared Burna Boy to Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif. Sarkodie also identified American rappers J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar as his only competition. Responding to a fan’s request, Dremo issued a reply to Sarkodie’s comments, where he wrote, “hold my beer😂”. Fans praised the DMW rapper for his response.
