Drake has reached a groundbreaking milestone, becoming the first artist ever to receive 10 Diamond certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
On May 28, the RIAA officially recognized the Canadian rapper and singer for achieving the highest number of Diamond plaques in history. In a celebratory social media post, the organization wrote, “Drake has the most RIAA Diamond Certifications of any artist, ever,” accompanied by a graphic highlighting his impressive achievement.
Two of his hit singles—“Hold On, We’re Going Home” from Nothing Was the Same and his debut hit “Best I Ever Had”—have now joined the elite Diamond club, signifying over 10 million units sold in the U.S.
These join his already Diamond-certified hits, which include:
- “God’s Plan”
- “One Dance”
- “Hotline Bling”
- “Life Is Good” (feat. Future)
- “SICKO MODE” (with Travis Scott)
- “No Guidance” (with Chris Brown)
- “Love Me” (with Lil Wayne and Future)
With this new record, Drake surpasses previous leaders Garth Brooks and Post Malone—both tied at nine Diamond-certified records. He also stands alone as the only artist to earn double-digit Diamond honors across singles and albums.
