Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has allegedly been taken into custody following her relentless social media campaign against Pastor Chris Okafor.
The arrest appears to be directly linked to her recent, serious demand for the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate the cleric’s church altar, where she claimed a death occurred during its construction.
Comedian Breaks the News
Popular comedian Deeone was the first to announce the development on Instagram, noting that the legal consequences he had predicted have now materialized.
He wrote:
“Doris Ogala has just been arrested. I tried to warn her, the allegations didn’t not add up. Now, she will have to defend everything in court. Everywhere good my people”.
Context of the Feud
This escalation follows a week of intense headlines involving the actress and the pastor. Ogala claims the cleric betrayed a marriage promise dating back to 2017 by marrying another woman, Pearl, on December 16, 2025.
Beyond the romantic dispute where she is reportedly seeking ₦1 billion in damages for breach of promise and emotional distress the situation took a darker turn when she publicly accused the church of ritualistic practices involving the altar, which seems to have triggered the swift legal response.
