Nigerian Afrobeats singer Spyro has shared details about his difficult path to success, revealing that his rise in the music industry was far from instant.
In a post on Instagram, the artist explained that he spent 16 years pushing through struggles, setbacks, and disappointments before finally gaining recognition around three years ago.
“If someone had told me 3 years ago that I would become this fly, I would have argued it. I have been in the industry hustling for 16 years and I was at my lowest when JESUS changed it all… PLS DON’T GIVE UP,” he said.
Spyro admitted that there was a time he hit rock bottom, battling feelings of failure and uncertainty about what the future held for him.
However, he attributed his turnaround to his faith, noting that everything changed when he least expected it, turning years of hardship into success.
His story has since inspired many fans, who have praised his determination and drawn motivation from his journey.
The singer, who gained widespread attention with his hit song Who’s Your Guy, emphasized that success often takes time, highlighting persistence, faith, and self-belief as key factors in achieving one’s goals.
