Social media is abuzz after renowned music executive Don Jazzy unfollowed VeryDarkMan on Instagram, amid allegations of a ₦180 million fraud involving his NGO.
VeryDarkMan, who has been making headlines lately, recently shared an Instagram post claiming that ₦180 million was stolen from his NGO’s account. He stated that ₦20 million had been recovered and that one suspect had been arrested in connection with the hack. Investigations are reportedly ongoing.
A check on Don Jazzy’s Instagram account by Naijalog revealed that the music mogul had unfollowed VeryDarkMan. This comes after Don Jazzy had previously donated ₦100 million to VeryDarkMan’s newly established NGO, which focuses on reforming Nigeria’s public education system. Other high-profile figures had also contributed, and a recent update from VeryDarkMan showed that the NGO had received over ₦200 million in donations.
