Musician Peter Okoye of PSquare sparked outrage on social media after being spotted in a viral video.
The singer, also known as Mr P, was apparently getting ready to take the stage for a performance when a lady approached him.
The lady asked Mr P politely if she could use her diamond testing device to verify the authenticity of the necklace he was wearing.
The musician, on the other hand, informed the lady that he was about to take the stage. He also made a point of asking her if he appeared to be the type of person who would go around wearing fake jewelry.
