DJ Chicken, a controversial TikToker, has apologized to Grammy Award winner Wizkid after losing his TikTok page twice. The issue began when DJ Chicken made insensitive comments about Wizkid stating that he would soon join his late mother in the afterlife. He also referred to Wizkid as a “finished artist,” discrediting the “Essence” singer as a lost glory in the music industry and accusing him of non-payment.
However, DJ Chicken faced heavy backlash from Wizkid’s fans, particularly the Wizkid FC, which prompted him to issue an apology. He urged the singer to forgive him and emphasized that it’s all love from his side. DJ Chicken lost his main TikTok page and the new one he opened afterward, which was equally suspended under a few hours.
In his apology, DJ Chicken said, “Machala, no vex; na love dey there. My fans, you’re ruining my mood, you all will be unfortunate. I am not fighting with Wizkid; can I even dare? We are all in the industry. You are reporting my account. I am your joy giver and I can take away that joy. What’s your own?”
Despite ridiculing Wizkid’s song as trash in his earlier videos, DJ Chicken concluded his apology by playing Wizkid’s song.
