The initial troubles brewing between Zari Hassan and the family of her ex-husband Ivan Ssemwanga seemingly is over, as the wife of singer Diamond Platnumz takes over as the manager of her late husband’s empire in South Africa.
According to Ghafla, 4 members of the late’s Ivan’s family and Zari Hassan sat together and determined how to manage their late brother’s assets, and they agreed to give the Tanzanian socialite one of Ivan’s homes in South Africa, while also making her manager of some of his businesses in the same country.
Ivan apparently did not leave behind a will.
Ghafla reports that the “committee comprised of Ritah Ssemwanga (Ivan’s sister), George Ssemwanga Pinto (Ivan’s elder brother), Lawrence Kiyingi Muyanja aka King Lawrence (Ivan’s best friend and now the presumptive leader of Rich Gang) and Zari Hassan.”
Some of the agreements they reached include making Zari the manager of Ivan’s schools(including the Brooklyn College in South Africa). Also, Zari is expected to live with her kids in one of Ivan’s houses in South Africa, while other houses would be rented out to provide financial support for the family.
The members of this committee will execute the duties of watching over Ivan’s properties, until his 3 sons with Zari turn 18.
As we reported earlier, Zari Hassan may be having problems with her current husband Diamond Platnumz. Presently, she is in Pretoria, and it is unclear if she would decide to move into Ivan’s home or the mansion Diamond bought in January.
