Former member of Mark Angel Comedy, Denilson Igwe, has shared evidence to support his claims that his colleague, Mark Angel, was paying Emmanuella a mere N20K per month despite earning millions from their content.
Denilson had previously appeared on a podcast, where he alleged that he was one of the founders of the comedy show but was sidelined by Mark, who controlled the monetization of their pages.
Amidst the backlash following his revelations, Denilson released a document that purportedly shows an agreement between Mark and Emmanuella for a monthly salary of N20K, shedding more light on the controversy.
The document partly reads, “The Manager shall from time to time bring the Artist home to her family to re-unite with her siblings and shall also make for regular communication on phone with her parents.
“That the Manager shall pay to the Artist a monthly upkeep of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) only. The Parties hereby agree that a Guardian ad-litem shall be appointed in the person of Barr. (Mrs.) Jacinta O. Chinkere-Nwogu who shall be contacted on all issues concerning the Artist including travels outside Nigeria.”
Sharing the post on Instagram, Denilson captioned it, “Evidence plenty am not chasing clout. Just that some people felt they rich and influential. Forgetting days of little beginning, all the suffer, the struggle, the prayers for better tomorrow now the tomorrow don come 😭😭😭😭.”
