Mrs. Deborah Mbara, a cancer survivor whose medical report was allegedly altered by influencer Blessing Okoro, has broken her silence following threats of legal action from her family.
Deborah, who is the Creative Director of Zazi Beauty, recounted how Blessing gained her trust to obtain access to her medical records. According to her, Blessing had contacted her while appearing emotional and fearful during a phone call, requesting her report for comparison purposes. Believing the request was genuine, she shared the document—only to later discover it circulating online with Blessing’s name attached.
She also presented evidence to counter claims that they had never met. Deborah shared a video previously posted by Blessing, showing both of them together in Asaba when she did the influencer’s makeup last year.
This contradicts Blessing’s earlier statement during an Arise TV interview, where she denied knowing Deborah or her family members who had accused her of using the report.
Deborah further alleged that Blessing recently traveled to Asaba to plead with her family after they threatened legal action. She claimed her husband told Blessing she would be forgiven if she publicly admitted the truth.
However, according to Deborah, Blessing has yet to do so and instead deactivated her Instagram account.
“This is evil. This is wickedness. This is demonic,” Deborah said of what Blessing has done.
