The event took place last week, precisely the 27th of May at the Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo, Monaco. D’banj performed alongside artistes such as Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Flo Rider, DJ Khaled, Ricky Martin, Tinie Tempah, Leonah Lewis.

Not only did he perform, he also won an award for ‘Africa’s World Best Male Artiste’.

This is cheering news as the bespectacled singer ups the ante in his illustrious music career. He clocks 10 years in his musical career this month.

2014 is indeed a great year for D’Banj. From celebrating his 10th year anniversary in the Nigerian music industry to releasing the soundtrack used in the hit movie ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’, to his quest and passion through ONE Campaign for Agriculture at the World Economic Forum, to winning an award at the 2014 World Music Awards in Monaco, it has been D’Banj all the way.
