Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, has taken shots at his former wife, Sheila Courage, after a recent video of her partying at a nightclub surfaced online.
The outspoken aide to superstar Davido expressed disappointment over Sheila’s post-divorce lifestyle, accusing her of using their separation as a tool for publicity rather than acknowledging it as a painful marital breakdown.
Israel’s criticism
According to Israel, Sheila has been inconsistent in her public image since their split. He argued that despite their marriage lasting only a few months, she often presents herself as a voice on marital issues and grants interviews that appear monetized.
He further accused her of living a double life, claiming she portrays herself as a devout Christian during the day but spends her nights in clubs.
In his words:
“To me divorce is something that should be very painful. But this girl saw it as a way of promoting herself. She come go dey monetize interview, dey give advice, for marriage you didn’t stay for 5 months. Na you come dey advice people now. You go carry Bible go church, but for night you go enter club. Thank God now the whole world has seen the reason why she left….”
