Nigerian music star Davido has resurfaced online amid reports of a ₦1 billion lawsuit filed against him by the lawyer of his ex-partner, Sophia Momodu.
In the early hours of Tuesday, March 3, the DMW boss shared lively photos and videos of himself and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, enjoying a getaway in Hawaii.
The couple were seen alongside friends during an adventurous outing, fully geared up with helmets and safety harnesses. One clip captured them hiking, while another highlighted Chioma’s amusing facial reaction as she tried zip-lining a moment that quickly drew attention online.
The cheerful posts surfaced despite the ongoing custody dispute over their daughter, Imade Adeleke, and a fresh ₦1 billion defamation suit reportedly initiated by Momodu’s legal representative.
According to reports, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Egeonu Enedah, a partner at Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, issued a pre-action notice accusing Davido of harassment, threats to life, cyberbullying, and defamation. The notice allegedly stated that legal action would commence if he failed to meet specific demands within seven days.
Meanwhile, Davido appeared unbothered by the legal drama, choosing instead to share moments from his Hawaiian adventure with fans on social media.
