Nigerian music star Davido has expressed his frustration after a well-known Instagram blog linked his name to a kidnapping case.
The popular blog, Instablog, posted images of three suspected kidnappers, including their leader, who introduced himself as “Davido.”
According to reports, the suspects were caught by residents of Victory Estate in Ago Palace, Lagos State. During interrogation, one of them identified himself as Ifeanyi from Anambra State, while the alleged leader confirmed that “Davido” was his nickname, stating, “Davido is my nickname. I came to kidnap.” The other two suspects were said to be from Kwara and Imo states.
However, the blog captioned its post: “Davido and two others apprehended for kidnapping in Lagos.”
Reacting to this, Davido reshared the post and issued a stern warning to the platform, saying, “One day go be one day… continue… my karma no dey always tey.”
