Davido has been nominated for the 2014 MTV European music awards, in the ‘Best African Act’ category.
He is nominated alongside Goldfish (SA), Diamond (Tanzania), and Toofan (Togo), while fans have an opportunity to vote for the fifth nominee (wildcard).
Some of the artistes that can be voted in are, Tiwa Savage, Gangs of Ballet, Mafikizolo, Sarkodie, and SautiSol.
The event will be held at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, United Kingdom, on 9 November 2014.
