DAVIDO MIGHT WIN $1 MILLION AT THE KORA AWARDS

Davido has won practically all awards for which he has been entered so far this year but it is clear that the ‘Aye’ singer not done yet regarding awards.

Just last week, he grabbed 5 nominations at the 2014 Channel O music awards and a just a week later, he grabbed another nomination as the Best Africa Act at the MTV Europe Awards, and he has been nominated yet again for another award.

The latest nomination for the self-styled O.B.O came forth from organizers of KORA Awards.

If Davido wins this award, he would be smiling home with a 1 million-dollar prize money attached to the particular category.

Already, Davido is certain he would clinch the award and has tweeted: ‘I’m up for the Artist of the Year award at the upcoming Kora Awards 2014. The Cash-Prize for the winner in this category is 1 million dollars.’

In another tweet, he said, ‘e sure die…. packing all, oya go vote make we share the money,’ he urges fans.

In 2012, Davido won the Kora awards as the ‘Best Male Newcomer’ while Chidinma won ‘Best Female West African Act.’
