Nigerian singer, Davido has just sent a sum of N1million to Ayo Africa, the boy who edited the controversial photo of himself and Wizkid.
The photo had Davido putting on traditional wear called agbada with a cap on his head. One could spot stains of white chalk on his face too. Beside Davido is the Ojuelegba singer who also had stains of white chalk on his head and a white wrapper tied around him.
Davido re-posted the photo of his social media page some few days back and captioned it “the greatest of all time in Africa”
The caption garnered a whole lot of mixed reactions on social media, and fans of both singers saw it as a medium to be united and stop the age-long feud between them.
But the controversial caption at the same time didn’t go well with some other celebrities, most especially Burna Boy, who didn’t waste time to throw subtle shades at Davido.
Burna Boy was immediately dragged on Twitter as many users called him out for being envious of Davido’s progress in the industry. Some even dug out old videos of when Burna Boy had a brief appearance in Davido’s Dami Duro video.
