Afrobeat artist Davido calls out a well-known international blog, The Shade Borough, for sharing a manipulated photo of him on social media.
The photo, depicting Davido in a bathroom selfie with a towel around his waist, was digitally altered and widely circulated on social platforms, garnering significant attention.
While the image has been taken down, Davido reacted to the incident, expressing his surprise and frustration at the unwarranted treatment. He also directed strong words towards those behind the manipulation.
In his words: “Now u delete it when u knew it was fake! Whatever I did to yall … one day God will reveal it. WILL OR WHATEVER OR NAME IS NAH OGUN GO KILL U AND UR GENERATION.”
Sharing the photo on his X page, he wrote: “Nah God go punish THE SHADE BOROUGH.”
