An old social media post resurfaced featuring Davido criticizing Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie and her husband, Prince Odi. The post emerged in the comments section of a congratulatory message from Eniola Badmus to Mercy Johnson on the supposed birth of her fourth child years ago.
In his comment, Davido accused the couple of being wicked, suggesting they had malicious intentions. When questioned about his harsh words, Davido simply referred to them as “evil people.”
Reports indicate that Davido was taken to court by the couple for failing to attend the opening of their luxury hotel, Henod Luxury Hotels, in Abulegba, Lagos. Despite announcing his attendance on Instagram, Davido did not show up, allegedly due to being on tour in America. This led to disappointment and failed attempts to communicate with his management team.
