British-Nigerian rapper and singer, Oluwafisayo Isa, popularly known as Darkoo, has revealed her desire to become a mother — but without carrying the child herself.
The Favourite Girl hitmaker, who publicly came out as gay in recent years, shared in an interview with Madame Joyce that she’s now thinking about having children. However, she made it clear that she’d prefer her partner to handle the pregnancy.
“I’m at a phase in my life when I’m thinking about having kids. I feel like I would be a great mom, but I don’t want to carry the baby in my womb. My partner is going to carry it,” she said.
Darkoo emphasized that motherhood goes beyond biology, noting that being a mother is about nurturing and loving a child.
Back in 2024, the artist opened up about how coming out to her parents brought her peace. She shared that telling her mom about her sexuality made her feel significantly lighter and happier.
