Controversial singer Dammy Krane has dismissed the viral allegations of a ₦180 million fraud involving popular critic and commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The clarification came after VDM posted a video claiming that his NGO’s website had been hacked, leading to a massive loss of charitable donations.
In an unexpected twist, Dammy Krane took to Instagram, sharing a video with VDM, where they revealed that the entire incident was a prank.
The singer captioned the post, “It was a prank. VDM is renovating a school in Jos.”
In the video, Krane jokingly added, “You didn’t expect that, did you?”
The revelation has sparked mixed reactions online. While some users expressed relief that no fraud had actually taken place, others criticized the duo for trivializing such a serious matter.
VDM’s explanation that the funds were used to renovate a school in Jos has been well-received, as it aligns with his ongoing commitment to humanitarian work.
