Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has publicly called out fellow artist Davido, demanding payment of a debt shortly after Davido revealed receiving $20,000 from a producer as a gesture of appreciation.
Davido had taken to his Instagram stories to share how a producer he collaborated with on his Timeless album years ago recently received a publishing check and chose to personally deliver $20,000 to him as a token of gratitude.
“A certain producer/writer I started working with during Timeless finally got his publishing check. He came to my house, handed me $20,000, and said, ‘Baba, I thank you.’ It’s heartwarming to see there are still good people in this world! Being appreciated feels amazing. Love you, brother!” Davido shared.
Shortly after the news surfaced, Dammy Krane left a comment on a blog post covering the story, urging Davido to settle his debt. He wrote:
“OWE B OWE. Just pay me my money. I’ll even give you $50k out of it if that’s what you want.”
