Controversial media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has expressed renewed hope in Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership.
He stated that the President’s policies have given citizens a sense of optimism about the country’s future.
Daddy Freeze also urged Nigerians to remain patient with the administration, emphasizing that Nigeria’s longstanding challenges cannot be resolved overnight.
During an interview with Nigeria Info FM, Lagos, he said:
“With President Bola Tinubu, I don’t believe Nigeria is in crisis. Initially, I had concerns, but I’m beginning to see positive strides, particularly in the power sector.
Nigeria is like an overloaded truck with a faulty engine—no matter which mechanic you bring in, fixing it will be a struggle. The government is that mechanic.
The country has numerous deep-rooted issues, and expecting any administration to fix everything instantly is unrealistic.
At first, I was apprehensive, but observing the way this government has handled things so far, I am starting to believe that there is finally hope for Nigeria.”
