Fresh controversy has surfaced in the ongoing custody dispute involving Afrobeats star Davido and his child’s mother, Sophia Momodu, after a woman claiming to be related to Momodu’s lawyer spoke out online.
The woman alleged that her sister has been facing online harassment following the court case and blamed it on Davido’s social media activity. In a viral video, she claimed the singer allegedly exposed her sister’s contact details, which led to threats from some of his supporters. She warned that any form of intimidation or harm against her sister would not be tolerated.
She also stated that she could take legal action against the singer in the United States, claiming she has evidence that could be used if necessary. According to her, the legal questions asked in court were straightforward, but she alleged the situation was misrepresented online.
The video has since divided social media users, with some backing the woman’s claims while others defended the singer and cautioned the lawyer.
